HOLY CRAP! I'm all torn up because I yelled "You lie" through Obama's whole speech. Oh, boo-hoo! I never intended to disrespect him....NOT. I disrespect all lying politicians which means I disrespect 98% of all politicians, no make that 100%. If their lips are moving they are lying.
Obama talked about the billions of dollars Social Security would have because of his plan. He conveniently forgot to say that part of it was because people drawing Social Security benefits would not be getting a cost of living raise for the next TWO years. The notices were sent out to recipients late last year and I'm sure his grandma or aunt or whoever the heck she is, whined to him about it.
Oh, what a tangled web........

I thought it was hilarious. If that makes me childish so what!Nice to see someone speak their mind.Too many sheep these days.If speaking your mind right or wrong is bad, well guess what im bad.Call him what you want but it takes courage to say what you beleive not just think it.
Oh,you must mean like the Dems did when they BOOED LOUDLY during Bush's entire State of the Union Address
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vid...the_union.html
Or let's not forget the fact that the Commie Obamie did OUTRIGHT LIE to all of us
"Under current law, illegal aliens are not supposed to receive welfare or medicaid benefits. They are not supposed to register to vote or have jobs, either," said William Gheen. "But due to a virtual non enforcement of our existing immigration laws, illegal aliens are stealing American jobs, registering to vote, and receiving welfare and medicaid benefits."
You assume I think it's okay for Bush to be booed but your wrong. Like I said, wait until the speech is over then tell the media what you think about it. But I can't let you off the hook that easy so I going to play your little game. Make sure you read the little blurbs I posted after my question.
What part of illegal aliens will not be covered in the Health Care Reform bill do you Pubs not get? It's in there, even in one of the articles you posted.
Have fun
1999: Republicans Booed Clinton's Entrance
Many Republican lawmakers gave him a cool, though not impolite, reception. There were a smattering of boos when Clinton first entered the House chamber, but they were quickly drowned out by applause. Some Republicans barely applauded, or refused at all to clap. House Majority Leader **** Armey (R-Texas) and U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas) were conspicuously silent. [Boston Herald, 1/20/99]
1998: Republicans Booed Clinton's Medicare Proposal
Clinton's health-care initiatives, chiefly in the form of a medical bill of rights, found support on both sides, especially his attack on managed-care health-care plans. ... Clinton's proposal to expand Medicare to allow Americans as young as 55 to buy into the system drew shouts of "no" and some boos from Republicans during his speech. [Chicago Tribune, 1/28/98]
1997: Republicans Booed Clinton's Opposition to the Balanced Budget Amendment
The Republican response was far warmer than perhaps any of Clinton's previous four State of the Union speeches. Time after time, Republicans jumped to their feet to join Democrats in applauding the president. Only once did they unmistakably and collectively show their disapproval--when Clinton spoke disparagingly of a GOP-sponsored constitutional amendment to balance the budget. Many Republicans hissed and some booed. [LA Times, 2/5/97]
1995: Republicans Booed Clinton and Walked Out During Speech
The upheaval wrought by the Republican election landslide was visible throughout the president's State of the Union address - from the moment Speaker Newt Gingrich took the gavel to the striking silence that often greeted Clinton from the GOP. At one point, Republicans even booed. About 20 of them left as Clinton went on and on for an hour and 20 minutes. [AP, 1/24/95]
"...wait until it's over and then tell the media what you think."
People can't just walk up to a cameraman and say, "wait, I want to be on TV" or to ask a news reporter to give you an interview. There may have been a little problem with that guy getting media time.
What he did may have been disrespectful according to Miss Manners, but you have to admit his statement got the nation's attention. The media didn't have time to edit it or dress it up with their point of view. In two words the man let the world know the USA has a President that can't be trusted. IMO respect is something that is earned.
I agree he has yet to earn mine....actually he can't he is full of everything I hate about politics and his agenda goes against my grain. I look forward to the day that he is gone."...wait until it's over and then tell the media what you think."

what's wrong with calling a spade a spade? i'm thinking about a Palin/Wilson ticket.
It does specifically state "legal US citizens" in the bill however I believe some democrats are working on a separate measure to increase the amount of money in the Medicaid fund that covers illegals that receive emergency room/hospital care.
Perhaps there is some confusion/meshing of the two. But how could there be confusion in a 1000+ page bill?![]()

Sure not ever person can walk up to the media and make a statement but I would think a congressman at a highly debated speech would have no problem, especially one who wants to be heard.
As far as the respect thing goes, there's a difference in having respect for someone and acting respectful in a place/situation when you should. He's the POTUS like it or not so if some of you don't get it then whatever.
No,the problem is Obama and the Dems are working on a bill to make every ILLEGAL ALIEN a legal US Citizen which would give them full coverage under the health care plan, this for committing a crime in crossing our border illegally. They will also be able to dip into our social security fund even though few if any ever paid one red cent into it,and every other program available for them to milk off Legal Citizen's hard work.It does specifically state "legal US citizens" in the bill however I believe some democrats are working on a separate measure to increase the amount of money in the Medicaid fund that covers illegals that receive emergency room/hospital care.

Sorry,but I don't buy it.
My buddy's mom works at CBH and I'm sure it's like all other hospitals but an illegal can come in and have a baby for free (10k for that?) sure whats the alternative they gotta help but once it's over arrest them and send them back. Maybe take their car truck or whatever as well.
