Just wanted to take a sec and say hello since I recently joined the board but haven't posted until just now.
I you see me out on the water, I am usually with my father - who pretty well raised me in the back of a boat on Barkley/Kentucky Lakes. We still fish those a couple times a year, but health issues has Dad staying closer to home so we have been sticking with Bluegrass, the Wabash, a couple small private lakes, and are planning to hit Sugar Ridge sometime soon.
I had been reading reports here for a while, and wanted to learn more about some of the smaller pits / ponds in the area that we can carry my new 10' Pelican into - we still use Dad's 19' Stratos on the bigger lakes / rivers, but the Pelican is pretty sweet for getting into some places that his boat cant reach.
Regardless, just wanted to say hey, and if you see us around feel free to stop by and say hello.

Welcome!
Welcome to the board Ryan. If you would be interested in fishing river tournaments send me a private message with you email address. We fish a series out of Angel Mounds ramp and are due to start up on April 10. If the river is in condition to fish......look forward to hearig from you.......
They are saying 18' by next Wednesday. You should be good to go don if the rain stays away.
I just hope they know what they are talking about. Maybe the river forecaster is better than the weather guy.......
Welcome. We all need new fishing stories.
