Made a change from bass over to catfish and panfish about 6 or 7 years ago. I miss it terribley. Is the Ohio River still good or should I make the 2 hour trek to monroe. Hardy and Brookville are about an hour and Patoka is about 3 hours. Where should I be spending my time? I am open to other suggestions as well. By the way I am strictly a catch and release person, I would like to be able to catch fish tomorrow as well.

Deam lake (Borden, IN) is slowly starting to turn into respectable fishing waters again. They placed 2000 grass carp in the lake to take care of the terrible weed problem they have. Its about 200 acres. Only problem is you can only use trolling motors. so if you like to get around fast you wont have that luxury.
Bass Pro guy said a 10lber comes out of there every 2 or 3 years. All of the coves have thick cover. Idea spots for bass fisherman.
Muskatatuk Wildlife Reserve (Between Seymour and North Vernon) I havent fished but has two decent sized lakes that Ive been told are loaded with nice bass. Its not fished alot due to the fact you cannot have ANY kind of motor on it. The bigger one Id say is right around 100 acres.
