always had a much greater hook up% with d&l
You need to check out the Omega pro mega jig. They make them in the cumberland craw color also. This pro model jig is flat on the bottom and so when you pull on the line the craw trailer stands up. Also great for ripping.
Where can i go to see this D & L jig?
Cumberland Pro are tough to beat. Expensive, but great jigs in my opinion. D&Ls are popular, but I try to throw something everyone else isn't using and the fish haven't seen a million times already.![]()
I don't buy many jigs, just some small ones for crappy and large bucktails over 2oz. that I don't have a mold for.Have been looking at what others are using and would make up some like the d&l advantage jigs if I can figure out what they are using to make the tails.

Great point! Buying them from some of the fellas on here like Legal Limit Lures(Jeff) or ZX150 (Ryan) is a good idea if you don't already make them yourself.
I pour my own footballs, poison tails, and casting jigs. Sometimes I pick up the Cumberland Pros out of pure convenience if I don't have skirts already made up for that particular trip. Pretty ornery paying for jigs just for the skirts, but has proved time and time again to work if I don't have my skirt material readily available in the boat to make adjustments on the water.
I like Legal Limit Lures jigs, I have used them for years, and they are quality made, with excellent hooks. Jeff will make special colors for you need them, he made a special color for me that really does well at Nolin in the fall. He is now making finesse jigs that are awesome, and I have done really well with the alabama craw. Give him a look, you wont regret it. www.legallimitlures.com
Im diggin the legal limit lures, is there a way to buy from him in person instead of having him ship them all of 5 miles in teh mail?
