Usually it's rockier the farther upstream you go but not the case with Silver Creek. I've scouted it just about everywhere it crosses a road and I've yet to see great habitat. Maybe it's what's in-between the bridges. The best I've seen it look is over by the golf course (covered bridge maybe?) and then directly below that dam on Blackiston Mill road.

I'm talking about fishing it around Crosley, they have a ramp there. I'm not sure the county but its up past Hardy Lake heading into N. Vernon.

Yeah, if you're heading to Crosley expect largemouth, smallmouth, and panfish. Jennings County. There is a ramp there, but from what I can remember it's not the greatest so I'd trade the 18' Stratos for a canoe or kayak.

Haven't fished it in years, but believe it or not, I used to catch TONS of everything underneath Blackiston Mill Rd. I caught some real good sauger down there, catfish, bass, everthing that swims. Started getting trashy about 10 years ago, and floods washed away some of the areas to access it without getting wet. Probably still some fish down there, along with shopping carts, and tires etc.
