Might give Nolin a try... Been some pretty good fish caught the past couple of years. Maybe around 3rd week of March.

Our club from Somerset is having a meeting tomorrow night to decide where to fish in march. We cancelled our December tourney and are gonna have two in march. With the recent rain and upcoming rains, which lake will recover the fastest? We only fish saturdays and usually limit the lakes to cumberland, dale, barren, and green. I was catching a few on cumberland but know the rain has messed with it. Where would u suggest and which Saturday? Thanks.

I wouldn't mind fishing nolin, just can't get the older gentlemen in the club to go anywhere but barren or green. We live in Somerset so nolin is a good trip for a Saturday morning.
Barren and full moon that is close to Saturday
Green is 2ft over summer pool as of this morning, and with the rain they're calling for it could get up quite a bit....However, March has produced some really good bags out of there the past couple years....Was out there Saturday and the Ramp 1, Lone Valley end of the lake wasn't muddy yet
Fishin is Life,
Any chance you misread the water level? The chart I saw showed that it came up 2.8 foot overnight, but was still about 10 foot below summer pool. Just saying, OK.
Lake level website has Green 2 feet over summer pool.
Barren is still ten feet under summer pool but Green is two feet over summer pool as of yesterday.
The lake was at winter pool middle of last week and as of today it is 2.3ft above summer pool and with the rain we're getting I'm sure it'll still be rising...I was out there saturday and can confirm it's as high as stated
And anything short of a drought they never let the lake get more than 7ft below summer pool....The chart you were reading must have been a little off
