Re: Looking for a good deal on fluorocarbon

I use Seaguar Invisx "jwp" . I have'nt tried the Red Label Seaguar yet but anything with Seaguar on the box is good line an very comparative in price to other flourocarbon lines.

Berkley 100% Flouro and it's not cheap---but it's the best! Still is cheaper then some.

I haven't had too much trouble with the abrasion aspect comparing it to other lines. Primarily I use InvizX or AbrazX by seaguar, but I use the red label when I can find it. I Bought a spool of vicious elite in 10lb test and it too is pretty good line but they still haven't overcome the memory that line is noted for but all in all it is still good strong line and price right.

I have said this before in fact a couple weeks ago on here - You will get much better results from your line if you tie one end to a swivel thats tied to a tree (or anything really) and spool off a good long casts worth of line and stretch it, this will make the line alot more limp and remove almost all the twist and take out alot of the memory. If you do this before fishing it will let you use flurocarbon 2 to 3x longer.

I second this and you can get a $5 rebate if you buy it at Dicks Sporting Good.

I also second that Vanish is crap.

I use invisx, just remember if you want to save money, use a backer like a good braid and put on about 50-100yards of new line when needed.
