    stripers at canelton dam

    Went to Canelton Monday water temp was 73 water was on its way up after Sundays rain fished for catfish but they were slow so I threw the boils for stipers and they were on fire. So many I got tired of catching them . HA HA I never get tired of catching anything. They were between 4 and 8 pounds. Had a good time anyone catching any catfish.

    Yes sir last few weeks have got a 71#,55# two in the mid 30# range and a bunch a dinks most all blues with some small flats thrown in.Should get a good flat here soon.Thanks for the report. Chuck

    Mcalpine L&D. The fossil beds.and down.. I've been wanting to hit Canelton but seems I just don't have the time to travel like I used to.
