Exclamation OMG, Joe the Plumer is running for office ...

So, can he fix the leaks in his home state, much less those on Capital Hill...? I would question his qualifications, but compared to the incumbents, he just might be over qualified. Will be interesting to follow his venture into politics. [/I]

You act as if the world is going to end. Yea, he might not be qualified, but I'd much rather someone not qualified ( as a politician) to run than a POLITICIAN to run and win.

He is a WORKING MAN, and has owned his own company. Anyone who needs to make a payroll knows what taxes does to the WORKING MAN. And knows what is what with labor.

I wouldn't mind him running. I would in fact love to see a "Joe the Plumber" on the ticket in every race in EVERY STATE........if just 25% of them won, that would seriously jolt the establishment, which is exactly what is needed.

By qualified, my reference would be to his "skills at negotiation, i.e., the ability to negotiate an acceptable, and reasonable solution between the extreme Left and Right wing political views.. Seems there is a lot of that lacking today! Also, any candidate should have a basic education and some degree of experience with the legislative process. No problem here with the "working man running for office". Hey, if I were in Ohio, just might vote for Joe.

With reference to your statemen: "Yea, he might not be qualified, but I'd much rather someone not qualified ( as a politician) to run than a POLITICIAN to run and win." NO WAY, if his not qualified, he should get a journeymen's lic. We don't need another "Jimmy Carter" floundering around at the White House.

For sure I would back the man. He could be just another piece of the pie to get more of the old knuckleheads out of office!

Even if he showed up for work and just voted as we hired these crooks to do he would be better than most who already hold the offices.

Gotta face it...we as a country have floundered on bottom for years so there is no way but up.

A bit more on Joe the plumber:

Sen. John McCain, the Republican nominee, who dubbed Wurzelbacher ?Joe the Plumber? and referred to him repeatedly for the rest of the campaign.

The media scrutiny that comes with the spotlight quickly revealed that Wurzelbacher was actually an unlicensed plumber with unpaid back taxes.

Sounds like he just might fit right in!

    Nice SLAM...........

BTW.......the county commissioner is ON record stating there is a 99% chance he didn't EVEN know about the back taxes. So good try.

Also...........According the UNION reps in that locality, he could work under Newell's license (the company he talked about buying) in the Township and not in the City........so Technically........UNLESS he knowingly did work in the City, he was not required to be licensed.

But I guess this doesn't matter to someone like YOU who simply wants to bash a man.

And for the record, I'm pretty **** SURE I've always tried to pay my taxes on time and when I'm supposed to, but I almost got into trouble a few years ago with the LOUISVILLE SINKING FUND......yea, the 2.5 percent or whatever Louisville SCREWS folks out of for doing business in Louisville. I had miss calculated the amount I owed........it is a VERY effed up calculation, and managed to pay 700 bucks too little.

YEARS after I worked in Louisville as an independent developer, I tried to get a second mortgage on my home, only to find out I had a LIEN from Jefferson county on my HOUSE.............I was never notified.........Imagine that.

Not true. Please read and THINK about what I said.

From your response: But I guess this doesn't matter to someone like YOU who simply wants to bash a man.

Looks like "ANYONE WHO REPORTS A NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT A PUB gets a negative response from the GEO. Wearing a republican lable, (or for that mater, Dem..Ind...Etc), does not mean the individual gets a free ride...

    Dude.............THIS is what you SAID

So, you inferred he is a LIAR and a CHEAT......Lied about being a plumber....LIED about Back taxes.......

I posted that those have both been explained and refuted.

I don't know what else I'm supposed to THINK about what you said, because you SAID little. But again, that is how you operate.

    It is a battleground state.........

I hope he KICKS the crap out of the incumbent......then an unintelligent, uneducated, plumber will have unseated the longest running Democrat women in the house.......yet another DIRECT REFLECTION of the Obamunists failed policies........

    Yea, I love it.
