The Cards have really improved as the season has gone on....I don't see the Big East taking a huge step forward next year and will probably be down again so if L'ville doesn't get the BCS bid this year I'd say they'll have a really good shot next year....All I can say is that our Cats are in trouble next year, L'ville should dominate them

I love looking back at the old posts from earlier in the season. Now that the season has played out, it's quite commical to read all of this one:

I liked the one where you called the man a "Liar" about being in the hospital myself.

You must be bored...or just like turning over a dried up pile of poo just to see if it still stinks on the bottom.....GEEZ!

I used to do that same thing until I realized how big of an idiot I made myself look like.

Lot of bickering back and forth, no doubt. This season proved just how huge of a gap there is between the SEC and BE, plus how small the gap is between UK and U of L is this year. U of L 7-5 and UK 5-7, UK plays 4 top 25 teams vs U of L playing 1. Imagine just for a second the touchdown victory was reversed with UK winning, both schools would be 6-6 with U of L having a chance to win the BE and UK finished tied for 8th in the SEC. Not taking a side, just saying the possible Orange Bowl trip by the Cards versus no bowl bid for UK are not that far apart.

Very true. But look at the gap between the conferences for basketball season and it's a total flipflop. Each conference has it's pros and cons. If you want to prove yourself as a football powerhouse, then the SEC is where you need to be.....if you want to prove yourself as a basketball powerhouse, then the Big East is where you need to be.

Maybe so in the past and Basketball rankings don't mean much early but both the SEC and BE has 5 teams in the latest Top 25. Considering Pitt and Syracuse are 2 of the 5 for the BE and they are on their way to the ACC the BE better do something if they want to continue to be the best conference

Continue to name teams left in the Big East, sure. But absolutely no way this list of teams is going to continue the "Best Basketball Conference" title. This lineup of BE schools is easily on par with UK, Vandy, Florida, Miss State and such. The ACC with the addition of Pitt and Syracuse hold the title of most dominant conference when it happens.
