The two big dudes upfront are scary too. One of em does pretty much what he wants especially on D. Ucon had a very tough time getting a clear shot off any where near tha basket for at least the first ten minutes as my recollection goes. Then Scotty boy can shoot threes and frees and dribble around all over the court underneath reach cause he's short. At least he looked short from where I was.

Royce White is a tough matchup. But he reminds me too much of Lebron. Not that he's that good, but spends too much time distributing when he could be overtaking the game. Will he try to dominate when they need him?

I don't think Mr. White has met Mr. Kidd-Gilchrist. MKG has the size and quickness to stay with Mr. white. He won't be able to post up as easily against UCONN and his outside shot is not all that great. Cats by 15

He met him and then showed him 23 pts, 9 boards,4 assists, 3 steals and 1 block against MKG's 2 points. Unfortunately Iowa State doesn't have an adequate supporting cast and was ran out of the gym in the second half. UK got the win though I'm sure Royce would trade that stat line for a trip a to the sweet 16.

He did, but then he met Mr Jones.....kinda like 2 bulls with horns locked....

He is a good player for sure.

I had never seen him play before and I was impressed. He should be in the Association some day. He already has the body for it!

Actually, I thought MKG would get the assignment on Royce but Jones had him most of the time. Royce is a very good player who probably is re-thinking that decision to turn down on transferring to Kentucky and picking Iowa State. I still find it amazing that a player of Royce's talent can't hit a 15 foot un-guarded shot called a FREE THROW. 48% is horrible. He is costing himself easily 3-4 points a game plus won't be handling the ball in the clutch because of this. One thing is for sure, when he gets a head of steam baseline to baseline and goes in for a dunk, people get out of his way. The two times he went baseline to baseline for a throwdown, then entire UK team had their red capes out shouting "OLE" as he went by.
