Called the number and spoke to curtis in Lamar's office in DC. He said Lamar is against it and he has sent a letter to the corps voicing his opinion. Keep calling and post other elected officials to call with contact info.

You can also get on facebook and go to corps page" nashville district" and voice your opinion. They will reply unless you talk about something they dont want to discuss

Thanks guys. It's my understanding Lamar is the only/last hope. He's in charge of appropriations for the Corp. talk about a rushed decision.

Chances are tailwaters will be closed (at least for a while). I think a "million man boat cruise" below every affected dam will be order. Date TBD. Lets not go down without being heard!

I think it best to facebook, twiter, email and call your federal elected representatives in congress. That's where the Corps geta their money. I think Mitch Mcconnell would be a good one.

It really does have an effect when you voice your opinion to your elected official on an issue "like this"
Very easy to send an email too. Maybe do that instead of posting here today.
