I don't know, but I'll bet Hollywood won't be casting Paula Deen as the First Lady anytime soon either.
LMAO

Will a White man ever play the role of President of the United States ever again, I'm just asking the question?
Does that make me a racist, lol. What a **** joke!

LMAO
LOL @ Q...................Good one Brian.
Man they need to get off her ass. She was honest after being asked a direct question. What's the big deal, she isn't a racist. How come black people can say ''The N word'' and God forbid anybody else does. This crap wears me out, wears me out BAD!!!
Jamie Fox is a racist and about as believable a President as the Fart I let last night...
You are preaching to the choir there, brother.
Paula used the N-word...once, she says...after some African American dude had a gun to her head. Call me a butter-lovin Southern racist too, but I might have done the same thing. Yet, countless African Americans in the spotlight can use the N-word all day long and it's just another day. When a black person uses the word, it's a term of endearment...when a white person uses the word, all hell breaks loose. I'm confused.
I think some people need to sack-up and quit being a bunch of cry-babies.
Funny how we are all racists to some degree but it's only bad if your white skinned....I'm betting you will see our potus in Hollywood after his 2nd term is over....will he play a role as potus??? I mean he will have had 8 years to practice/act and role play as the potus so he should do pretty good!
LOL, Don I swear I wonder sometimes if you and I were seperated at birth. I have said the exact same thing to my wife that you just said. As much as that troll loves to look at himself on camera I all but gaurantee that dude will be on anything and everything he can. He will be like Syphilis and never totally go away. I never see George Bush on anything and I see Clinton CONSTANTLY. Obumer will be the gift that just keeps on giving.......................GAGFunny how we are all racists to some degree but it's only bad if your white skinned....I'm betting you will see our potus in Hollywood after his 2nd term is over....will he play a role as potus??? Last night eh? Dude you know you let go at least a Secretary of State if not a President or two this morning. Me, I only pass Attorney Generals.
Jamie Fox, talking about another movie he was in told everyone "I get to kill all the white people." Imagine a white actor saying anything like that about any people of color. The uproar created amongst the 3 brain cells that make up the entertainment industry would be deafening.
White males are the ONLY people about which jokes can publicly be made, and white people are the only ones the media will brand a racist.
I agree what happened to her is a huge overreaction. But if it's true what she said in 2007 about her "dream southern plantation wedding," well... judge for yourself:
“Well what I would really like is a bunch of little niggers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around,” the lawsuit claims Deen said. “Now that would be a true southern wedding, wouldn’t it? But we can’t do that because the media would be on me about that.”

That said, I'm sure there are plenty of other racist people out there, on Food Network and elsewhere, who just haven't been honest enough for their views to come out. And she's offered a sincere apology, which, interestingly enough, most of the black celebrities I'm aware of are ready to accept and move on. Which is what the rest of us should be doing...
Problem is its an easy out. I called it when Obie was nominated as a potus candidate. If you criticize his decisions your a hater or racist and that was an unfair advantage. A person may be either but it shouldn't mean you can't question a person who is running for public office with legit questions. You are preaching to the choir there, brother.

Imo....People hide their judgements on others based on skin color pretty good to the public but I don't hide my racism to well. I'm not a member of the KKK or any other hate group but I do fall into the group of being a racist because I don't like the special treatment of blacks, I tell black jokes, like Paula I have used the dreaded N word and I do put stock into what I observed and heard from the years growing up in areas of South Carolina that were more than 50% black while in and around the military.
I been on the receiving end of racism both as a child and as an adult. As a child it was because parents found out my mother was Japanese during PTA meetings and of course they told their kids and they brought it to school. This was in a small town in Central Florida called Union Park during the 70's....It was terrible. I didn't want to go to school and when I did I kept to myself and did poorly with my grades. After many meetings with my Dad (mom wouldn't go)and the school officials my Dad came to the conclusion that things wont change and he gave me the green light to fight to stop the bully tactics. That changed everything for me! Of course after more meetings with the school admin on me fighting all the time they understood and things started to change but it never stopped.
As an adult I dated black women for years and that means family functions like BBQ's, birthday parties and such. Talks with my girlfriends about racism and yes it was a problem at times....(word of advice you don't call a black woman a black bitch without expecting a ferocious verbal confrontation but in the same turn i don't like being called a Jap either) comments about white people were tame but still racist and many untrue....they were told as jokes and humorous jabs but the message was clear. Some of those jabs came from very wealthy black men who still maintained that "whitey" owed them. I also had an out and that was I am half white so I would say things like half of me is laughing which would diffuse the moment. Folks who says they are not racist on some level.....are delusional. To me I dislike people who pose like they are above the fray when in fact they are not.....Kinda like being a little bit pregnant you either are or not.
Like splitshot said....grow a sack and handle your business.....well I misquoted but that's how I see it!
I've never been to the "Tolerance Museum" in LA, and doubt I'd ever go, because from what I've read it's long on emotion and low on facts, but there's one thing they do that I think is spot on: to get in, you have to through one of two doors, one labeled "Prejudiced," and one labeled "Unprejudiced." The latter is always locked, because nobody is without prejudice.
WOW toad........did you EVEN read the transcript........ANY OF IT.I agree what happened to her is a huge overreaction. But if it's true what she said in 2007 about her "dream southern plantation wedding," well... judge for yourself:

It is easy to quote the article, which you did, but in the deposition, it never once stated that, so it is not in the record, it is hearsay.
If she said what you quoted, then it is an issue, but that was not part of the deposition, which is part of the problem. The media runs rampant on this ****, and I'm about SICK of it.
Here is a link to a PDF of the deposition, if you don't want to read it on that page:
