I agree what happened to her is a huge overreaction. But if it's true what she said in 2007 about her "dream southern plantation wedding," well... judge for yourself:

That said, I'm sure there are plenty of other racist people out there, on Food Network and elsewhere, who just haven't been honest enough for their views to come out. And she's offered a sincere apology, which, interestingly enough, most of the black celebrities I'm aware of are ready to accept and move on. Which is what the rest of us should be doing...
