Just tired of all the media attention this is getting, when there were at least 5 black on black shootings in the west end LAST WEEK and thats ok....just because it didn't involve a white latino...SAD

Question I don't know maybe for the same reason as

Some people call Trevon "Punk" and "Criminal". Could it be an accident that I called him George one time and then Zimmerman another? I think it was because I wanted to use a variety in my sentences and not use the same name over and over again. That's just my writing style for me.

I wonder why juror 37B refered to George Zimmerman as "Georgie"? She sure did sympathize with Mr. George Zimmerman more than the other Juror who spoke out to the media. The Hispanic woman that is.

I think that Juror 37B believed every thing that George said and discounted all the other testimony for the most part. And also the way the law is written you have to have proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was guilty and since the black kid was not there anymore to tell his side of the story a lot of the eye witness testimony was lost. Thus no convictions. George made sure that Trevon was dead when he shot him a point blank range and though the heart. Thus the only person still alive to tell the tail was George. Now the question is do you believe what George Said or not? Evidently the prosecutor didn't believe him but some of the police in the mostly all white town did.

This case will never go way I fear. No one is going to change their mind now so what's the use in talking about it anymore.

Maybe Trevon got tired of running?

That place only has three streets and Trevon was on foot and George was in a SUV or some type of vehicle. Maybe Trevon was tired?

And it was dark and raining so maybe they didn't see each other until they were up close and then it was the flight or fight syndrome.

Or maybe even something different really happened. George had his gun out and grabbed Trevon by the hoodie and pulled it away from Trevon's Body and fired with his barrel up against the hoodie but 6" away from Trevon's chest? That would explain why the hoodie was away from Trevon's Chest when the gun was fired and how George got the gun out of his back holster. I don't believe all of what George told the police and the others.

To me George started the entire fight and is lucky that he's not sitting in a jail cell for 30 years to life. I'd have changed him with 1 st degree murder. IMHO he stalked Trevon with a loaded gun then shot and killed the kid. That's what I call a vigilante not a hero. Anyone remember seeing those Brunson Vigilante movies from the 1970's and or 1980's?

I guess you don't realize that the forensics proved that from the angle of the shot it couldn't have happened the way you are speculating. By the end of the trial even the prosecution had conceded that TM was on top of Zimmerman. One of them even sat on a foam dummy to show how they speculated things might have occurred, but there is no way Zimmerman just walked up and shot him, the evidence proves that.

The reason that the hoodie was away from the chest is because of the weight from the contents in the pocket across the front belly portion of the hoody. As Martin leans over Zimmerman to beat him the weight pulls the hoody away from his body.

I would agree that Zimmerman used some poor judgment and as a result it led to a chain of event that resulted in the shooting, that however is not murder.

The facts are if anyone chooses to assault someone else and then climbs on top of the person to continually assault them even while they scream for help they run the risk of being shot if the victim is armed.

You would have charged him with first degree murder even though the youngster had broken Mr Zimmerman's nose and was witnessed by two people to have been on top of Mr Zimmerman? maybe you should convert to muslim, maybe their justice system would be more to your liking... We certainly don't need people like you in our justice system... Racial equality will never be achieved as long as people like Al,Jesse, Barack and folks like yourself continue to play that game.
