I can't get over how catty this board is.

I made a post once, ask 2 questions, noting specific and was attacked. I would have replied to each and every one of them, however I can no longer find the post...

You're referring to the "Pipeline" thread you posted a couple weeks back. You can say it's environmental, related to fishing, etc......But trust me, to some that's a hot political issue. Best advice I can give you.....stick to fishing! You will get sound advice and straight talk from the guys & gals on fishin.com.....when it comes to FISHING!! Oh BTW.....don't take it personally when you're challenged by opposing viewpoints on this site. We all have our opinions....and more than willing to share them It's all healthy....you may even pick up on a few things you never thought of before.

Topics not related to fishing can be voiced on the "Off Topic" discussion forum as stated by someone else on your orginal post. It is just knowing forum rules. Again, I think you will find people on this forum very helpful and straight forward which to me is very refreshing nowdays.

Click on your user name in your post and select view forum posts. You should be able to find the thread that way.

Sometimes people come off differently than they intended to on here given that everything is written. It takes a "writer" to write something well and have it communicate well. I know for a fact and all my English teachers along the way would agree that, I for one am not a "writer"......or "speller"...but that's OK because fish aren't either.

My advice is not to dwell on a word or two that may have been put next to some other word in the wrong manner or maybe even intentionally done, but either way...that is their problem not yours. Next time you see that say to yourself "ain't my problem" and continue on. Not trying to give advice but just share a little of what I have noticed on here the last seventeen years.

Agreed. I stand equally guilty and sometimes I just ignore the rudeness, and other times I lash out at it. Wears on you, don't you agree? There's good information here,. and I agree with you, one ought to be able to avail themselve of that without the rudeness.
