I watched the video. We have a 18.5' Skeeter and I'm just not too fond of cutting into any of the bow structure. If not for that possibility I know it would be easy enough to do ourselves. Especially since we keep the boat in our basement. I love to fish while standing up without the butt seat there at all. A recessed tray sure would make that easier. I guess the tray can be moved back away from the bow structure but I want it to be comfortable to use with the seat too.

Eddie can do it for sure, but theyre really really easy to install yourself. With the tools and very little know how its a 30-45 minute job. If youd like eddies number i can get it for you and pm me it to you. If you decide to do it yourself, put the butt seat in and see where your foot naturally hits the floor in the center of the deck. Use that mark for the center of your hole. Theyre worth much more than they cost for the ease on your back, and if youre like me, your knees

It sounds like a nice winter project. I sure we can do it ourselves. We can take the forward drybox out so we can see what in the bow and just avoid cutting into anything up there with the jigsaw. The way it is now it makes my knees, thighs and back hurt besides having the possibility of going overboard because of being off balance. Thank you for the info.

Has anybody found these cheaper than $120? Bp, cabelas and tackle warehouse are all over $100. Seems really pricy for something so simple.
