Dang I was sweating out my birthday thinking I was gonna go 0-fer the day on gifts. And then finally at 11:30 pm a dandy landed in my lap.

Fair game better in the 1st half. I would've lost money betting this one but I was also looking for a bookie...err I mean someone to take my $50 for UCONN at 75-1 to win it. Also liked uofl at 15-1, Iowa st at 35-1 an okst at 60-1 for $50 each.

Turned the game off. Didn't bother watching the end because I knew they weren't going to win playing that way. Uk showed what they really were tonight...... Freshman!!! with no veteran leadership. The twins and randle we're extremely dissapointing. Uconn controlled the whole game and seemed to never be threatened by uk. If theses freshman leave they wouldn't play on a nba roster. I see none of them actually contributing at the next level. But cal will probably try pushing them out the door like usual and being a uk fan I've gotten used to players leaving after a year. I hope they stay but who knows these days. Proud of what they accomplished for the season but really disappointed how they ended it....

Dam Ward, a little hard on the Beav aren't you!! Randle and Young will both be high picks and both play at the next level next year. Both Harrison's need to come back but almost think they will listen to the wrong people and make a mistake and enter the draft, just like Teague and Orton screwed up. The rest of the freshmen will be back. That being said, if the twins, Poythress, Johnson and Lee return plus Booker, Lyles, Towns and Ulis coming to town and in the running for Gill-Caesar and Turner, who knows they could be right back here again next year

Do you honestly think randle can play at the next level? He's really undersized to play the power forward position in the nba and struggles against bigger opponent on the block due to his short wingspan. As well as not having a real back to the basket game. It's one thing to bulldoze people in the college game but I don't see him over powering guys at the next level He's not laterally quick enough to play the 3 spot in in the league plus he doesn't have a reliable jump shot. He needs another year of college ball for sure.
The twins would be lucky to see the floor on a d-league roster. Young is the only one I see being able to actually play in the pros and that's a stretch. Don't get me wrong these guys are good college players but they aren't ready for the nba. Same goes for other college freshman labeled as one and done. For example wiggins from ku. An athletic freak with potential but extremely inconsistent with his shot and doesn't have the strength to play against the bigger nba players.

Off the team, the best prospects in order are Young, Randle. POYTHRESS, WCS, An Harrison, Aa Harrison. Poythress may be the most Athletically Gifted kid to don the Blue and White in many many moons. Randle and Young whole to, the rest should return

Didn't threaten UCONN? I reckon you missed the part late where we were on the line for a 1-1 that would have given us the lead.

Nerves finally got the best of the kids...evidenced by the free throw shooting and rattled play. It's as simple as that.

UCONN was more experienced and played lights out too. That never hurts.

An unbelievable run for the Cats though. I never would have believed that this group would play for a title after the regular season. Very proud of their fight.

The NBA doesn't care if they are "ready." They draft them on potential and what they think they can become. I think Randle, Young, both Harrisons and WCS are all gone.

The band will get back together? What he MEANT was they are all going to re-unite on the LA Lakers 2014-2015 squad. Should Rex Chapman hire a bodyguard after that reckless tweet?

Seeing Johnson and Lee come back will be good news that's for sure. I have no idea of who has committed to come in next year but those two had moments of greatness this year and postseason.
