Tony dodged a bullet there. The thing about drugs of any type including alcohol is that if you are in a situation where you are hurt at work you will be tested for drugs or being intoxicated. Insurance companies want every possible reason not to pay or be involved if they can help it. I'm really surprised that this man didn't understand what a gift it was to be in that sport.
Years ago a Kentucky driver had made the Cup series was making millions only to be sidelined for drugs. I don't remember what type but at that level your a top level athlete and you will be scrutinized. I guess ole Jeremy thought he was above all that.

Seriously, I can't imagine why they say getting high would impair his judgement on getting out and on to the track. I have seen many drivers including Tony Stewart and others do the same thing in the cup series. They wait on the track until the driver they are pissed at comes by and they toss their gloves or helmets at the moving car. Sometimes folks even wreck others on pit road. I was at a race when Tony Stewart did that because he was pissed.

Kevin Ward was driving in a race and he wasn't going so slow that he was getting lapped on a constant basis was he?? I haven't watched the clip in a while. Pot will do many things like making people laugh, eat, sleep and be content with things but raging like a madman? Nah I don't buy it. Maybe the guy smoked pot that morning (still doubt it) the night before (still don't buy it) but I cannot believe that had anything to do with him being pissed and wanting some justice.

Hell look at the road rage on our roads! Bad judgement is easy and common even without smoking weed.

Pot had nothing to do with it, but rest assured he was impaired. The cannibas was still in his blood that meant he recently smoked. This is not like a urine test where it could still remain in there for a month or more.

The drug issue made this go away if you ask me. Folks were looking to put Stewart away. Had the driver been squeaky clean, this might have had a different outcome.

I don't think Stewart "slid" out to hit the kid, but I do believe he added some juice for effect, and **** got away from him. Bottom line, only Stewart knows.........

On the other hand. If Stewart wasn't a hot head and had he not put someone in the wall to cost him a checkered flag, maybe this would have been a non issue.

I could not imagine how one could smoke a joint right before a dirt track race and even be remotely competitive. It doesn't work for Mario cart on Nintendo I couldn't fathom it in a real life race at high speeds. Maybe ward was able to maintain.
