Where did you get the number for 220,000 new jobs created by "clean" energy.....I'd like to see the data.walmart here has gas 1.57 per gallon, America is pumping oil and gas at or above the level of the giant Saudi Arabia, the eps's regulations, led by Obama, has hurt coal production jobs, 50,000 jobs lossed, but the regulations are in place so Americans can breath cleaner air and drink cleaner water, clean solor and gas jobs has replaced the coal jobs, with 220,000 new jobs. clean energy is going to replace the dirty oil and coal, as more research dollars go into good clean energy, the better it will get and the less a barrel of oil will bring. if the next President will follow Obama and push for clean energy, the Oil producing nations, will keep what oil they sale priced reasonable. I think the gas will hover around 2 bucks per gallon for the next few years.
I have ZERO confidence in those numbers, especially when you look at all the solar and wind failures.......
The coal jobs lost are not even close to the numbers of jobs lost that were had because of the coal business. Mechanics, construction equiptment manufacturing employees etc, etc.. Many, many jobs have been lost because that b*st*rd in Washington DC is in bed with the so called clean energy entities that are pushing for this crap. While we're at it how about the ethanol levels being raised to 15 percent so they won't hurt the corn farmers incomes. I totally believe in supporting farmers by the way, but think when the national marine manufacturers association has a completely safe proven alternative to ethanol that won't destroy our outboards & small equiptment engines the epa should listen. Wonder who leans on the epa to pass this crap. The same b*st*rd in Washington DC who has bankrupted so many. I will proudly also say that i'm a democrat & d*mn sure never voted for Obama. By the way i'm just posting in general & not aimed at anyone posting in this thread. lol
Those ethanol subsidies **** ASS............I hate ethanol, and I hate it even more, since I had to replace my fuel lines last weekend ON the water at Dale because the bull **** ethanol ATE my fuel line. The coal jobs lost are not even close to the numbers of jobs lost that were had because of the coal business. It is amazing how those lines break down due to ethanol.........
Yuck.

I have no idea, how they track the indirect jobs tied to a certain industry. but I have read where the coal industry has 3 indirect jobs for every coal job,The coal jobs lost are not even close to the numbers of jobs lost that were had because of the coal business. I have also read that there are 13 indirect jobs tied to each job from solar, wind and gas jobs.
the clean energy is the future, it's not only President Obama that can see this, other smart world leaders can see this also, China has invested 89 billion dollars more than the USA in clean solar energy.

Solar Is Adding Jobs 10 Times Faster Than the Overall Economy
wind and solar added about 79,000 jobs and natural gas tacked on more than 94,000 jobs. When the researchers also accounted for indirect jobs, natural gas, wind and solar brought in nearly 220,000 jobs.

Dude.............if you say it, that doesn't make it true........
How about a link from a legitimate site.........otherwise it is lip service, much like most every other LIBTARD talking point.
my friend, if I say it, that doesn't make it true, even if I read it, that still don't make it true,
but if I say it, does mean I've read it somewhere.
here is a link on it,

From your own article...........these are estimates based on numbers that may be incorrect.my friend, if I say it, that doesn't make it true, even if I read it, that still don't make it true,
but if I say it, does mean I've read it somewhere.

Multipliers are used to identify "additional" jobs created by green energy.....
"
Even with the difficulty in analyzing job growth figures for specific energy industries, the authors found that natural gas, wind and solar all have higher multipliers of indirect to direct jobs. Coal creates about two indirect jobs for every direct one. That figure rises to about three for natural gas, while wind and solar might be as high as 10, although the authors cautioned the latter estimate may be somewhat inflated.
"
I honestly doubt the numbers are even near what you say, especially when you also include all the solyndra's of the world that went belly up due to the green energy initiative by the current administration.
The oil company says low oil prices hurt energy jobs! The green guys say low oil prices stiffle green energy research and jobs. The agra lobby says low carbon fuel prices, hurt ethanol profits. Me, I like paying 2 bucks a gallon. How many freight carriers are doing away with the fuel surcharge?
