Been a minute, man. Used to be quite a few posters on here, all that political sniping musta run em off.

We had a couple of Mangrove Snapper if that's what mingos are. Caught quite a few real nice triggers, but they were out of season so had to put em back. Had to run from the dolphins a pretty good bit...some fish stealers there now.

    Still hawgin up big catfish?

Yes sir, still lookin for the big one lol. Had some commercial fishermen move into my area and it's been a little slow. I try to get down to the Panhandle a couple times a year and do some fishing. Blanked on the pompano earlier, water was a few degrees to cold at the time. Hopefully get a couple more trips down there this year. Hope all is well, nice mess of fish right there. Chuck

Thanks, it was a helluva trip. We go Snapper fishing at the beginning of the season every year, and I try to catch a head boat anytime I can.

Gonna try out an in shore boat for bull redfish next time I'm down there. We've waded St. Andrews bay a bunch of times and haven't got on em. My bud got a 42 incher wading a few years ago, fish of a lifetime...no such luck for me.

BTW if you get to PCB, hit J Micheal's for supper. They do hook n cook, too. Yummy on my fat tummy.

Couple of weeks ago my bud caught a 21 lb blue down from the Nickajack dam in the river while we were hammering big spotted bass on shiners. Treated him like a chicken head on that spinning rod with 10lb test. Not in your class of whiskers, but a big un to us.

Good luck with them cat daddies, that 100+ is laying out there waiting on you.
