This is a 3 story boat storage building at the Fishermans warf on Seaway Drive
The Black Pearl Pub and Restaurant at the Fishermans warf. The building above
Partially laid on top of the Black Pearl. It took almost a week to remove the building from on top of the Black Pearl.
No this is not a contraption to catch a hurricane. It is what is left of nets in a recreation area in Fort Pierce.

More dock pictures. There were quite a few boats sunk in their docks and also out in the channel. Coast Guard Cutters have been sounding the channel looking for boats.

Mobile Home Park on the Intercoastal Waterway off Seaway Drive.
There was a lot of damage to quite a few of the Mobile Homes, but most
looked livable by the time I had arrived.

The Dockside Inn Docks. Some of the few docks in the area left. These will
have to be taken out and the pilings resunk.

Where Joe Ward's Tackle Store once stood. The Ice Cream machine is the
only thing left of the shop, except for his Wifes hose.

This is where the front door of the Tackle Store once stood. You can see
White PVC in the back there. Those were filled with Concrete and stayed put.
The concrete pilings will not have to be replaced.

More Dock Pictures. Most of the docks in a 20 mile radius of Fort Pierce are gone and the pilings that are left will have to be pulled and reset. The tidal surge literally pulled them up as it pulled the docks up with them.
