Pro-Softbait Glue

Special Offers

Mike:
As an inshore/offshore guide in the Tampa Bay area, I cannot tell you how many times I threw away a partially torn grubs or Sluggos due to a small tear in the body. At 4 for $1.99, it soon gets expensive.
That’s all changed once I tried PRO’s Soft~Bait Glue™

Jennifer Drain of LandBigFish.com fished with me recently and brought along a bottle as a gift. I looked at the bottle and stored it away in my tackle box for future use. (Not thinking that I had a very valuable tool inside!).

That day, we fished a couple of grass flats and deepwater docks. Using 5 inch Sluggo’s for bait, we soon were into the Trout and Redfish. As you know, spotted sea trout are notorious for ripping apart soft-bodied baits. They have a snaggle-tooth in the upper part of their mouth that just cuts your baits in half sometimes. After throwing away a few torn baits, Jennifer suggested I use the ‘present’ she brought me. I was simply amazed that once the glue set in a few seconds, my soft-bodied bait was as good as new. Even the action of the bait was not affected!  That day on the water sold me—no more discarding partially ripped baits!

Since then, PRO’s glue sits inside the console of my boat—ready to fix any rip or tear that these toothy predators generate. Now, if I can just figure out a way to keep them from swallowing the whole body!!

Good fishing to All!!

Hi Mike,
As you know from meeting each other at the Sports Show in February, I‘m an guide on the outer banks of NC. As a captain for 18 yrs and fisherman for much longer I‘ve been in many hot bites where I would go though many soft baits and would run out or nearly run out of the hot color or style. Now, with your new product, PRO’s Soft~Bait Fishing Glue, I really don‘t worry about it anymore. Also, fishing for those big Stripers with oversized shad bodies I don‘t go though all the expense as I used to before. When ever my baits are chewed up or almost cut in several pieces this glue will fix it within seconds and I‘m back in the water catching more fish. And my paying guest stay happier when they can keep on fishing too without re-rigging all the time.

In my business not only do I need to catch a lot of fish but like any other business the bottom line means everything. I also use your glue to keep my soft bodies on the hook with a drop of glue on the shank.

This is the best product for fishing in years! Thank You!

Jim Dicken - Fishin.com / I recently used the PRO's Soft~Bait Glue to glue a Pork Chunk in place on a hook. It did not interfere with the action of the chunk and kept the chunk from riding on the hook and getting itself over the hook to prevent hooksets. I also used it to glue some Lake Fork Baits back together after I cut them in half.. This stuff works and is "In My Opinion, Better than other "SUPER GLUES".

I also highly recommend this glue for use on Tube Jigs.. One drop on the tip of the hook and the tube will NOT come off. I ripped a Snoozers Tube in half with line intentionally then reglued it and caught fish with it. I then made some really neat baits using pieces of baits that I cut and reglued making new baits.. Fish have never seen these creatures...

REVIEW by: Bass Lure Review
First off I have to Thank Mike for his time and for the product that made this review possible….. Also for the fine conversation we had on the telephone.. Mike is a honest person who has full belief in his product and gives you hundreds of tips on using it as well.. I opened my test kit and inside was also a pouch included to hang on your belt/ D ring etc.. To hold the glue A great thought..

Mike also includes fine instructions with the product..... Well Sunday am arrived and I woke up my son for a morning on father and son fishing.. We headed to the local hot spot for smallies in Plymouth PA On the suski river.....

Now the smallies down there kick the living be willickerz out of tube baits..
Always ripping them off the jig heads.. So the first test would be a drop where the eye of the hook meets the rubber

I rigged up a salt/Garlic loaded tube and took one small drop As the instructions state on the base of they eyelet.. Pinched the tube a bit and let it set for 15 seconds, then tossed it in the water.. 5 Small mouth bass later the tube was still like new did not slip off and the glue held .............There was no tear by the eyelet on that hook...

Then I got a snag and that was the end of the whole works.. My next test would be a Mr twister EXUDE quad tail skirted grub as well as some double tail grubs from yamamoto.. I chose these 2 for testing because the EXUDE is real slick and oily I mean these baits drip oil when you take them out of the bag..

and the yamamoto baits are real soft and tear easy as they are loaded with salt and old Gary yamamotos'special other ingredients and usually after 1 hit or hook up from a bass these things are dangling at the end of your rig/ jig head The EXUDE especially slip and slide all over your hook.

MR Twister even came out with a special hook after their own pro field test to fix this issue with their latest bait.. I rigged them on a 1/4 ounce jig head then pulled the bait down on the shank about 1/4 inch added just ONE DROP Then quickly slid the bait up on the back of the jig head Held in place for about 15 seconds then tossed it in the river...

On the 4th cast I had a bass and when I reeled this bass in and UN hooked it I noticed it tore the quad tail a bit Now so far I have used the product to hold things in place lets test the repair end of the product... If you do not understand how the EXUDE baits work please read my other review on them.. Why?? Because this was a real test Not only are these baits oily out of the package.. They get slimy as an oiled up trout when tossed in the water...

That is how they are designed... therefore this ripped up quad tail was going to be a real test... Mike told me on the telephone that this product resists oils and stuff so we were going to see about that... I took the quad tail opened up the rip (wound)

Placed ONE DROP in the center of the rip and pinched the bait back together, then tossed it right back in the river On the 3rd cast I brought it back in and took a good look at it and the bait was repaired like new. I also Grabbed the bait from the back of the jig head and tried to pull it down no way was I pulling this off the hook unless I ripped the bait apart..

Next was Charlie Cases Sinkin Salty Shad and Magic Stiks Since I was out field testing them also for another review.. The Same exact tests were preformed ***with one twist... I was not going to fully rig a stick I was going to GLUE THE TOP TO THE HOOK TO SEE IF THIS GLUE REALLY PREFORMED...

Mind you this place we fish, there is a new bridge going up.

Therefore there is strong current here as they have the river diverted through some huge tubes..... and by those huge tubes are strong current but this seems to be a place the bass love.. Again this stuff worked.. I was amazed.. I in this review also went and talked to 4 other fishermen and did a quick show/demo of the product they immediately asked where do I get this stuff???

I gave them each a card for the website.. Which Mike included in the test kit.. I also gave one fisherman if I recall right named ERIC Who was also with his son... A Tube bait that I rigged for him and glued the eye end to the tube. About an hour later he was still using the same tube bait I gave him as I wondered by to fish and he said these things work awesome I caught 3 pickerel on this in the weed bed and I never have gotten any pickerel here in the river..

I looked at the tube bait and it was still attached and in good shape… Note here in closing.. This glue is like water BE CAREFULL.. It will bond skin quick Tilt the bottle s l o w l y to the plastic / hook and let the glue come to the part do not just tip the whole bottle up side down Or you will have a handful of glue.......
This Glue has changed my whole plastic fishing routine. I can now use the bait until the fish eat ½ of it or until it gets snagged… I can also rig/cut and make any style or color I want… Get creative with this also when you have a free moment

Add a twist tail from Berkley power bait to the end of a tube… Get crazy with it Dream up your own plastic designs… RATING 10 there is no other like it.. It works You can order this direct from http://www.prosoftbaitglue.com And there is also a telephone number if you don’t like slamming your credit card via the web.

If you do get to talk to Mike tell him Dave White sent ya … or at least mention the review you read here..

Notice Offset of tail below.

Mike's Glue Tip of the Week:
Walleye Crawler Rigs: Now pre-rigged snelled crawler hooks can be easily bonded to any soft~plastic worm in under 30 seconds. Why pierce a hook in a perfectly balanced bait if you don't have to? Plastic worms will move through the water just as natural as a live night crawler. Go fish with this walleye rig and you will see how nice they move in the water with hooks bonded to the soft~bait compared to conventional rigging. And don't forget, you can change any worm's tail color in about 10 seconds.

Last Week's Glue Tip:
Place a rattle inside the tube. Cut a tail off of any bright color grub and insert it up in the skirt end of tube. Now pull tubes skirting out of the way and place one small drop of PRO's Glue on grub tail where it's inserted in tube (wipe excess). A great way to add some color, especially in stained or deep water working those mouth of creek drop off's where a lot of bass stage. You can also keep that tube from running up your line when you catch a fish by placing one very small drop where your monofilament fishing line enters head of tube whether hook eye is inside tube or externally rigged. PRO's Soft~Bait Glue will not let that tube slide down the hook or go up your line until you need a new one. Saves on losing baits and saves time rerigging the tubes again.
