Mr. Twister / Mepps has introduced a new product in the last 2 years called Exude. Like other products this one produces a patented formulation of amino acids which are said to attract and stimulate feeding of Saltwater and Freshwater fish. Mr. Twister is now owned by Mepps.

Hairy Joe the worm with a hair tail. Lots of extra action with this worm and it
floats. This lure is sold by Punisher Jigs, and currently is only available at the
Dale Hollow One Stop in Celina. Punisher Jigs

River Bottom Lures has a new plastic bait with jig like flairs at the top and middle of the worm and a paddle tail for plenty of action. Comes in quite a few colors inlcuding the Hot Pink above. Available at Okiebug.com

One of the newest products is the Strike King 3X Superflexx plastic baits. The plastic is billed as 3 X as soft, 3 X as Strong and 3 X as bouyant as other plastics and since I have tried this bait it is pretty accurate. As you can see in the picture above you can take the bait and stretch it out without breaking. It does float and this is its main attraction and detraction. The bait floats straight up and down. even on a Texas Rig You can rig this bait with a 5/0 hook and it will still float, making ip a great bait for lilly pads and other surface cover. If you use the Jerk baits you will need to keel weight the hook to get the bait to work properly... ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: On the bottom of the package out of site, you will find a notation saying that you should NOT put these baits in with other plastics.. DO NOT STORE these baits with other plastics. They will cause both to degenerate. THIS should be on the face of the product in my opinion. There are going to be some very surprised fishermen when these get mixed. Superflexx makes a special box for the baits.

Terminator makes a bait Identical to this. It differs in that most of the baits come with openings for you to put rattles in. The Strike King baits do not.
