best month to fish guntersville

please help me settle an issue between myself and two of my friends.we have never been on guntersville lake and we are just average bass fisherman that love to fish for big bass that are in shallow water.i say that february is the best month and my other two friends say march and april are the best months.please help me out crimson tide fisherman.thank you

For big bass .... February and March is best. In April most of the big 'uns have spawned and moved back to deeper staging areas.
