Going to Guntersville!

My first trip to Guntersville is coming up this week. We are leaving Wednesday night the 12th from Louisville and staying at Pine Island Circle. We will be there until Sunday the 16th. Have been reading the threads and looks like it could be a good time to be there. I have got together a bag of baits to bring like shad raps, jerk baits, spinners, cranks, jigs and a few top waters. Any help would be great since I've never been there and would be appriciated. We have about 10" of snow here right now and is still snowing!

XR-50 and XR-75 excalibur rattlin lipless cranks in Royal Red and Royal Shad have been the hot prespawn baits for the past couple of years. A jig 'n pig always gets me a big bite this time of year. Fish will be bunched up, so if you find a good one ... slow down and fish the area hard before moving on. Leave your spinning tackle at home and don't use wimpy line or you may lose the fish of a lifetime. Good luck ... and post your results when you get home.

Thanks Shadlips! Good to hear from you Keepersize, are you fishing the Green tournament? I'm looking forward to the Alabama trip, six of us from work are going down. I will let you guys know how we did when we get back.
