    Which you like best or use?

    Which of these do you think is best for the big ones that hit hard.

    the BPS link didnt work, but have you looked at tackletour yet? They review all kinds of stuff and they may have done a review for rod holders to give you maybe some more info on what you are looking for.

    I have two different types of the Scotty Rod holders. I like the one with the locking ring of hard plastic best. I bought two of the scotty rod holders that have the rubber band that holds the rods in place and they worked ok, but I feel that the one with the locking ring keeps my rods more secure.

    I use these single rod holders to troll crank baits about 100 ft behind my boat with bandit baits. I have caught a few slab crappie using this slow trolling method.

    The scotty rod holders are made of a good grade durable type of plastic material. It reminds me of the rubber maid type plastic which is much more durable than the polypropylene type plastic that cracks and breaks shortly after you buy it.

    I'd like to get the triple rod holder from Scotty for the front of my boat for very slow trolling with minnows for crappie.
