Nearly 2 million locations

Ok, last post!!

I made a new map with nearly 2 million locations, 25,000 in Indiana alone! The locations range from beaches, canals, lakes, streams, ponds, channels, cliffs, craters, falls, harbors, islands, parks, rapids, springs, and trails plus a whole lot more!

This information is for all of the states in the US! Some of it may take a while to load, like streams in Minnesota for example. I tried to do the best I could paging the results so one query wouldn't result in 5,000 results being sent from the server!!

Some of the navigation can get messy, so if you get a map that says it can't be displayed, zoom out a bit.

If you click on a marker at a location, a white balloon will appear. The link at the top (right cilck, save link) can be placed in emails, blogs, forums etc to show others where you are talking about!

I thnk you have a good thing going here.Keep up the good work.Now if we could just mark the lakes where everyone is catching fish,brushpiles,weedlines,or just places known to hold fish.

I'd like to add a private/group area where people can sign up and invite others (friends etc) to their group so they can share locations with each other and not the general public.

I'm also going to add an advanced search to the states map so that it doesn't take so long to get the locations. I'd also like to add where you click a point and find all the X type of locations within X # of miles etc.

OK, so my spots are all known now. Please don't tell em what lures I been throwin. I been bloggin with Greg Hackney and we gottem figured out real good.

I just added an advanced search for this map where you can search for any type of location within x # of miles from given point.

Good work. Wish I were smart enough to figure out how to put your maps to better use. I have tried them a few times but have not reallyu spent much time using them.

What I want to see is topo maps of the lakes I fish with the best spots marked with a big XX LOL

If I can figure out how to use your map better I will ad a few good spots to them too.
