Anyone know when they will start drawing Boggs down to kill the shad?
I'm thinking about fishing there Thursday also......
Another thing........what about Turnover there? I'm assuming it has already started.........but not too sure.
So far the water is still pretty clear for this time of year. The high shad levels seem to have had the effect of preventing any type of aglea production this year, so the water has remained more clear. It does have that shad lake brown tint, sort of like iced tea. Lots of folks are taking advantage of the Crappie bite that seems to be going pretty much full tilt right now. The drawdown will begin in mid-december, so it will not affect fishing actitivy for a couple more months.
