    mayfly hatch at LBL

I crossed Barkley early this morning on the 68 bridge and it was literally painted with mayflies. Fished KY,topwaters early ledges midday with just 6 short ones and 1 keeper.I did'nt notice any swarms but I did see alot of their shed casings in the water. When I crossed the bridge this afternoon there were no mayflies to be seen. Has this hatch already happened or is it a drawn out process? I have had some really good days when I've been lucky enough to be on the lake at hatch time. Also how did everyone do at Ky. today?

The hatches are just getting started. They will be around a while. I was doing a trip looking at spots for an October tournament so not really fishing what we needed to be fishing to catch fish right now.
