I was back on the water the next day...got a loaner boat. I am bouncing back and forth between loaner boats and sometimes going in the client's boat right now...my new powerhead is on order. My next available date is in mid July...surely they will have my new powerhead on and running before then. Anyway, so far I have not had to cancel any trips by doing the loaner boat and client's boat thing..just yours the day the engine blew...hated to have to cancel out on you by blowing my engine on the way to pick you up..definitely not the way to start a day of fishing.

Not a problem at all. I appreciate the way you handled the situation. A lesser person would not have trailered the boat to us with an explaination.We did go fishing after you left and had a decent morning but we still need some deep water instruction.

Hi Eddy: Thanks for the kind words. I would be happy to take you and your son out for some instruction bass fishing. I really like to work with the young folks especially. I had the pleasure of taking a young man out for two days this past week while his guardians were antique shopping...had a great time teaching him and even better he caught his biggest bass ever...a nice 5.5 lbs fish...of course that does not happen every time but when it does it sure makes my day as much as it does the youngsters. Just give me a call or drop me an email and we will set up a date for you from what I have available in July if any of the dates work for you.

Hi Dave, I see that you're just up the road from one of my favorite places on the lake. I haven't been over there in a while, but I used to come religiously. I started coming over there when the camp was called Miller's, then it changed to Ellenberger's. I believe it's now called Whispering Pines. I'm going to try to get back over there next year, if so I'll try to call you a few months ahead of time and maybe set an appointment for you to take my two sons out.

Be happy to take your sons out. If you want a spring date you should book in December to ensure you have a good chance to get the date you want.

Hi Dave! Just to let you know my son isn't as young as you think. He is 38 yrs old but due to my divorce from his mother many yrs ago we have not had a good relationship until recently.I never got to show him alot about the wonderful outdoor life.
