Anti fouling hull paint

I keep my boat on the water most of the time, and of courst the bottom gets really nasty with algae and slime. Has anybody used the anti fouling paints I've seen in the catalogs, and if so, does it work well? It's pretty expensive, and I'd love to hear some comments on it before I buy any. Thanks, Joe B.

well joe. i hope you've got that algae off. its only been 6 years
