    Dropping Rough River....

I am concidering taking a vacation day this friday so that I can head down to Rough and do some fishing. I noticed that they are dropping the lake. Should I use up a valueable vacation day to head down there while the lake is falling? How is this going to affect the fishing? I asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago and didn't get a single response. Can anyone provide any information or insight? Any suggestions as to where i should put in at?

    RE: Dropping Rough River....

Put in at the state dock and fish all the points with crankbaits and tubes. Look for schooling shad in the bays and use a 1/4 ounce rattle trap or spoon below the school. I have had good luck fishing when they are pulling the lake. The shad will move to the bank to avoid the current and the bass will stage accordingly. Best of luck!
