Laurel Report 12/18

Fished Laurel lake Saturday. Great weather but only one 2lb largemouth on a jig. First time I have fished this lake in years. Man was it difficult to locate fish on the sonar. Outside of 150ft of water, it was almost impossible to even find a fish. How I caught one near the shoreline is an unknown.

Water temp was 46degree and very very clear. Fished from the Damn back into the far reaches of one of the feeder rivers (not laurel river).

Thanks for the report. Plan on being down there tomorrow. Laurel can be awful tough in the winter. Plan on trying the ol F-N-F with maybe some silver buddies and spoons close by to get on them ol brownfish. Elwoods already up on me quite a bit so I have got to do some catching up lol.
