Help on Cumberland Stripers and Walleyes.

I really need some help (general area, baits, and time shad up) on The Big C for stipers and walleyes. I am taking my daughter and her boyfriend Wednesday night. ANY help would be appreciated, I plan on putting in at Jamestown. Thanks for any and all help, just trying to get my daughter hooked up on a striper.
    Thank again,
    Tim

After this past weekend, I think a number of us need help lol! Alewifes were coming up around 1 AM. Lures: red fin, jointed thunder stick (wake on top), sliver, bucktail. Bluffs close to deep water.

Time frame for catching them is getting smaller by the week. I boated 9 stripers last night, most of them were alot bigger this week. Caught them all on a black/chrome deep diving rogue. Could not get the thunderstick bite rolling...My 2 buddies that went with me combined for 2 walleye and 5 stripers. I just kept the walleye this time as the stipers are too much work to clean...Shad didnt start coming up good untill about 3:30 and the bite was over at about 5:45. had one stiper that was 40 1/2 inches......Deep shale banks with alot of cuts.....

Wow, a heck of a night. Sounds like they are wanting something quite a bit sub-surface.

Good luck Brian I hope you get a biggun. Andrew is a fine guide and good company too, and a half way decent net man to, lol.

Like i said, the bite was either on or off...Id say the deep rogue runs about 8-10 on 14lb line........You guys need to check out the area from Ramseys point to wolf creek. Fished this area for 3-4 weeks now and have yet to have a bad trip.

I'm unfamiliar with this part of the lake.. What ramp is that close to? May be heading down this weekend or wait till Tuesday, depending one when storms clear out..
