Me and dabassking are going Saturday. Thanks for the info ironhead. We'll post when we get back. Coolj, post report when you get back????Looking for water clarity - temp ; if you want let us know how you whacked'em.

If the gills are not biting, we catch a bunch of small bass on any plastic you want to throw.

    Good Luck

thanks for the info guys! noticed the fish are behind this year?

is it me or have you all noticed the fish are a little behind this year? this time last year we were slaying them at our favorite bluegill hole close to the bank and i have been twice in the past 4 days and they aren't up in there yet. we went to kentucky lake and got into them last year in the stake beds around april 22nd and no **** luck this year at the same time. seems like the water temps are little cooler this year maybe.

Went Saturday w/dabassking! Set out to only fish for bluegill - SLOWI don't think the gills are ready yet.

Water a little off color, but not bad. Actually cleared up a bit as the day progressed.

With the gill action so slow (several small ones only 4 keepers w/1 crappie) we started bass fishing and caught a bunch of small ones. Had a 16", 14", & 15". I could not see any bedding bass or gills. Maybe not in the right area but I could not find them.

Decent day! Not looking for a monster; just fishin.

Now that the 18'6" law is in the process of being changed I can actually fish without looking over my shoulder for the LAW.

    Good luck

I didn't make it to elmer davis like i had planned but I'm gonna head down there this thursday or friday. I figured with the weather warming into the 80's by the end of the week that the gills might be turned on. anyone been there lately or got any info? thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
