my system has always worked...i just never catch enough to max the limit!
I am starting to get into some small tourneys and wanting to keep it as inexpensive as possible. I wanted to make my own culling system. Has anyone made one and would be willing to give some suggestions on what materials are best to use. I am also going to make a balancing scale but I think I can figure that out myself. Thanks in advance.

Me and Embrey use the same method. However you can get on for under 20.00 at Bass pro.

Or here is a site with a homemade one some guy made.

I made mine with nylon cord, large old fashion diaper pins, and wine bottle corks. Make a hole in the cork and pass the cord through and tie it off on both sides of the cork. Then figure how long you want them and tie the other end to the saftey pins. Since we have had our kids in the last 5 years and drink alot of wine I had everything on hand when the idea hit me. I have since made a new batch using the plastic corks that some manufactures use in their bottles. These should last forever. I usually do not get a chance to cull lots of keepers, but, this system makes it quick to get the slots out of the well.
