Just read something on the Cumberland River Report that I've never heard before...
"Striped Bass are back at the mouths of creeks. Good Rockfish are being caught.
The limit is still 10 fish total, 2 over 21 inches and 8 or 10 under 15."
For those on the slow side, this suggests that there is a slot limit b/w 15-21 inches and you can only keep 2 over 21 inches and a total of 10 fish per person.
According to the KDFW the daily creel limit is 5 fish over 15''

So unless KY wised up and added special regulations to the C-land River that information is false. I personally wish they would keep the same regulations as the body of water where the fish were stocked in the first place (Cordell Hull) which is two fish creel limit with a protective 32-42'' slot and only one fish can be over 42.''
The lakes full of 8-12 lb fish sandwhiches - let em go let em grow (Tim Adrien) in the River!
Those limitations are the new trout regulations for the river because of the warmer water temps and the scare of a fish kill, nothing is new with the striper regs as far as I know.
