    Talking Natural Bridge KY area fishing

    Anyone out there have any idea at all what fishing is usually like last week in March, first week in April, in the Rogers, KY area and Natural Bridge area? We're comin' down from Indy the last week in March.

    You can trout fish at Mill Creek Lake. That time of year you might can catch them on rooster tails or small jerkbaits. It is just up the road from natural bridge. I hope this helps.

    Catchemall's advice is right on the money. Only thing I would add is that tourist traffic in the parks is just picking up then, so you will have a bit of company. Shouldn't be anything overwhelming though. I don't think the lake is delayed harvest but most of the streams in the Gorge are until April 1st.

    Fish the Red River in Gorge area. Smallmouth, musky, trout and redeye. Also fish the creek that runs through the state park in the campground area. Bass and trout there too.

    That would be my advice as well. You are right down the road from Red River Gorge with tons of fishing opportunities.
