where to stay on ky lake

Going to Ky lake July 31st and Aug 1. what would be a good place to stay, possibly cheap place with a lake view. Maybe a fire ring outside the room. Going more to play this time than fish. Going with some friends.

North Ky. try Moors, Big Bear, Hesters or Sportsman Anchor. Mid-lake there is Irvin Cobb and Buchanon. This late, rooms could be hard to come by.

I will say that the owner of the Marina at Irvin Cobb is letting teh ramp go to hell, so be prepared for the worst ramp on the planet... and the owners of the resort itself are kinda lettin the slips go to hell too, and dont plan on having more than one slip per cabin... But the people who own it are very friendly people.

Paradise is nicer in my opinion, but they do have larger cabins that cost a lot of money unles you have like 10 people. And I am not sure what they are doing wrong, but in teh middle of spring fishing season when everyone is sold out, they were calling my cell phone basically begging for customers...

Cheap is hard to find that time of year, so just make sure you get your moneys worth is all you can hope for

Lake view, swimming pool, restaurant and all the other needs, try KenLake, it is hard to beat IMO!

The friends i'm going with have a new tent I didn't no about. That's more my style anyway. Cheap stay more money for gas. I guess We'll stay at Hillmans or the canal campground. Unless yall have any idea
