im braveing the weather !?

may be the only one there but im going to the river and fish the upper dam in a couple hours and endure the rain , wind and whatever else gets thrown at me

well i went to the upper and waded for a few hours and to my surprise i wasnt the only one there, one other guy was up a little closer to the dam on some rocks. i knew a bait shop wouldnt be open so i took the dip net and got a couple dozen minnows out of the creek that runs up next to the dam. caught three sauger , one was decent 16-17 inches the other two were just average. would love to go back tomorrow but i think this cold front is probably going to mess that up plus the river is set to rise pretty good in the next couple of days so i guess i will be back at it saturday or sunday .... BTW they did not seem to want anything not tipped with a minnow.
