Hey guys - what are some of the area's best/better boat and fishing shows coming up in the next couple of months? I heard Louisville's boat show was pretty lame last year...I went to the boat/fish show in Cincy and thought it was great!
I know everyone goes to these shows for different reasons...but here's what I'm looking for:
1. Fishing Clinics
2. New products
3. Friendly people to ask questions and get "real" answers from
What are some things that you go to look at/for?

Louisville boat show is not bad since the cut down the number of days. Joe Thomas and Bradley Roy will be there doing fishing seminars and from what I have been told they are trying to gear it more towards the fisherman/hunter than just the recreational boat and rv buyers.
There's a new one upcoming in Nashville on Jan 29-30 that looks promising:

Annual Kentuckiana Fly Fishing show will be February 26th at the Fern Valley Hotel and Conference Center. WWW.kyflyshow.com
The Cincy show is pretty decent. If you don't mind traveling a little bit, the Indy show is great. Will take you all day to walk through it all.
Not sure where your at or from but Mark Menedez is giving bass classes at West Ky Community and Technical College in Paducah (WKCTC) starting in January every tuesday from 6pm till 8pm for 6 weeks,
If one can afford the travel, the BASSMASTER Classic has one of the best boat shows, but this yr it is in Louisina, and that is a long haul, but it is worth it, I went to both in Birimingham and they were great shows.
