Caught A Monster Last Night!

Some friends and I went fishing yesterday afternoon for bait, which was an epic fail. Not a bite. So I got the cast net out managed to catch 15-20, three - four inch shad. Fished from the bank of the Ohio. 3 Poles w/ live bait 2 w/ cut bait. Around 9:30 we had our first visitor. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Why in the world did you keep that beautiful fish? It amazes me that people are killing these big fish, 20 years from now they'll be extinct if people keep this up!

If these fish are extinct in 20 years it will not be because of over harvesting.

I wonder how old a fish is like that one ? I always heard that the smaller the fish the better they taste .
