Where is the hot spot for some Smallys?

Im looking to go out with the pops this coming up weekend and we really have an itch to try and smack some SmallMouths, and suggestions? We havnt fished for them in a long while and also with all the crazy weather we dont know what lake would be the clearest and what not, any help would be thankful!!!

cumberland probably wouldnt be my first choice this next weekend. not saying you couldnt catch a smallmouth, but....
the east end of the lake is completely blown out with muddy water, cumerland river, pittman creek, fishing creek was muddy but running in clearer this evening.

the west end of the lake (pumpkin creek) will be having the season kick-off for the "red buck" tournament on saturday. there is another tournament ....cant think of the group affiliated with it right now , on sunday, pretty sure its pumpkin too.
so the west end will be pretty crowded from thursday on i would imagine.

not to mention some of the creeks on the west end will have changed by next weekend.
