Thread: Airborne cables-Be Careful

If you are in the vicinity of a marina, especially at night be on the lookout for suspended marina anchoring cables coming off the bank. Some of the ones I saw were as high as six feet off the water and extend out onto the lake 10-20 feet. These show up on the opposite side of the bank or bay opposite the marina and can be 1000 feet or more away from the docks.

Even trolling at night these can cut you very badly not to mention other injuries. Hope no jet skiers catch one going 30 mph.
