    Thumbs down Unemployment 8.2%

Can anyone argue that 0 is not destroying this country?

I'm not sure our country is being destroyed by this president,I certainly hope you are wrong but actually the unemployment rate went from around 7% to almost 11 in the first couple of years of ronald regans first term... The bill clinton years seen the rate drop almost through the whole term of his office...
Personally I believe what is hurting us more than anything else is the reduction in the pay and benefits of folks working jobs on the lower end of the pay scale... I have not seen any data that tells us the percentage of folks who work every day and still need help from social programs, I feel like if a person works everyday then he should be able to take care of his family... I do believe this president leans more on the side of helping people with government handouts more-so than helping them be self sufficient...
I help a few folks every year filing their taxes and most of them seem to get a lot of tax dollars back from the government beyond what was taken out of their paycheck... I'm not sure what that is saying about the pay scale of these folks... I have seen data that says the base of folks who are considered millionaires has grown over the last years so it just looks like the resources are moving more to that end of the scale, I'm pretty sure I'm a loner on this point, on this board anyway, but I do think better paying jobs on the bottom end of the economy would be healthier for our country but unfortunately better paychecks for these folks would have to come from the folks at the top end of the scale.... Hmmm sometimes I seem to get really windy trying to make a point.
