Fishbuster Charters' Captain Dave Hanson reported, "Old friend Bob Eckle and his sons fished near-shore in spots four to eight miles west of New Pass with me on Monday, 12/28. Using squid, the boys boxed a dozen grunts, and they released three red grouper shorts, one gag grouper short, and an 11-inch flounder.

Joe Garretson and his girlfriend, Andrea Schaubschlager, fished with live shrimp in southern Estero Bay with me on Tuesday, 12/29. They released thirteen sheepshead shorts and boxed a nice, 17-inch pompano.

Henry Duitsman, with his son, Mark and daughter-in-law, Tammy, fished southern Estero Bay with me on Wednesday morning, 12/30. Using live shrimp, the family caught five sheepshead to 17 inches and released a 19-inch redfish.
