LAKE GEORGE IS 2.13 FEET OVER FULL, 84 DEGREES & STAINED
Bass fishing is fair. It is junk fishing so try anything at anytime of the day shallow to deep. A few of the major creeks have stained up and some flipping bites are being reported in the flooded vegetation, but the ledge bite continues to be a hard one to figure out. Brush piles in 8 to 10 feet holding a few fish, seems dead sticking a Texas rig is about the only way to get bit. Up river, the top water bite is fair early along the blow downs but the fish are small. The jig bite usually good this summer, has been slow as well with only a few small keepers. Try to duplicate a pattern on the ledges and you will catch a few fish at varying depths on different structure. Jerk baits like the McStick can also work in shad but be patient and work the baits slowly. Slow moving plastics are definitely the only way to get bit. See the feeding times daily with a Data Sport Fish and Game Forecaster on our web site. We teach ON THE WATER SCHOOLS for SONAR and Rods Reels and Lures for Bass. Call for details.
