We experienced a minor cold front that momentarily slowed them down, but fortunately, it did not impact their size significantly. Once the cold weather subsided, they promptly resumed their normal feeding habits. Additionally, it was apparent that some had begun the nesting process as suggested by the condition of their tails.
TVA is doing a remarkable job at keeping the lake low, I believe that is helping keep the bass from going full blown spawn. I’d take a guess around mid April the trips will be pretty wild with the lake coming up to full pool things will happening. Water temps read more
