    September has arrived summer has come to end but the heat is still on. Fall mullet run is trickling through the local waters and the bite is heating up.Tarpon are roaming the beaches and inshore waters targeting mullet schools as they migrate south. Tarpon can be seen rolling and crashing baits schools. Live baits and Rapala Skitter V or X raps great baits to get the strike. Soft bait, the DOA bait Buster an excellent bait to get hooked up with the silver king.Snook are ambushing mullet schools around bridges, sea walls, mangrove and channels. Live baits work great and artificial lures like the DOA bait busters or 5” swim bait awesome sits creating hook ups. Snook are schooling up in pods, both sides of tide produce solid action.The bait migration brings out all the predators. The sharks and jacks are abundant along beaches and inshore waters targeting mullet schools. Mackerel, bluefish, snapper and may other species in the hunt as well.Well that is the fishing report for the past week hope you all enjoyed.
